Cochrane Studios

Obviously the name Cochrane and the art created under that name are solely my Grand Daddy's but my mother started Cochrane Studios as a means to further launch my Grand Dads burgeoing creative demands.
My mother, Diane, learned under the tutalage of "Daddy" how to paint in his style as my Grammy handled the business side of things.
As my Grand Dads cancer began to take it's toll I asked him if I should or could take care of Gram...he laughed at me and said that was what all the art work was for. After my Grandads passing there where a couple of honorary art shows dedicated in his honor, my mom stood proudly in his place.

After many false starts and tumultuous beginings, Cochrane Studios became shelved and quieted shortly after his passing. Diane, my mother passed away always wanting to "do" and Cochrane Studios was always a main "do" for her but just never became until now
.
Cochrane Studios, though much bigger in spirit than ever in practice did manage to procuur some adventourous new creative out lets and direction from Cochrane (weird to call him that). In their inception there are a limited amount of original Bronze sculptures , carvings, sketches and concepts. And so will be available on a very limited basis in the near future. A book on the life of Charles L. Cochrane is in the making and will chronicle his life leading up to his award winning talents we all love and miss. There are so many lives that have crossed and have been made fuller as a result of having been moved by his artwork and his passion for the medium in which he creates. Even still, years after his passing. There is still a search for more. Well it's here and for you specifically with Cochrane Studios. And We thank you sincerely!

Cochrane Studios is alive and thriving as a result of all the interest from you and people as yourselves, I'm just his sunny-boy and feircly proud. We are (what's left) here for ya. and thanks for stopping by.
